Thought i'd post this up as i've changed her somewhat for riding lots as i sold my marin and haven't got my zesty yet.

The original bar & stem had to go, they sounded fit to snap!

So, my zesty definately arrived, but i've been using my pahoe' for a lot of commuting and a bit of local stuff. Also it's been awesome to ride in the snow!

Changed a few bits here and there. saddle, stem, now fully 9 speed. am definately keeping the old girl now, been loving riding her sweet ass around.

The new riding postion with the lower & longer stem suits my gangly frame a lot better than the original upright position.

The below pics are from a very muddy local ride i did with a mate last weds.
They also show the light i got recently from this website. Just like a lupine tesla 4, but £50 instead of £275! I'm sure there's been many forum debates on these, but i'll see how it goes!

i have a start on a professional wardrobe- was my birthday gift last year ;) unfortunately, it's all fall wardrobe and now it's 90something degrees outside.
Work Jackets

So I've decided to build this up for winter hardtail duties. For as little outlay as possible!
Forks were off my decade build. Will step down to 80mm.
Wanted to use silver components so had a rummage at work and found these nos bars from the syncros days!
Had the stem spare from recent messing around with full-sus builds.
These wheels have been gathering dust for as long as I can remember, it seems they're the boss's and he's happy for me to use them, so I win there! Also got some rather trick rims put to one side for when I can find suitable donor hubs.
Cranks were off my old nomad.
Had bb, seatclamp and post from last time it were built!
Got some brakes somewhere.
I'll build it singlespeed, I have a 32t ring, loads of chains and a multitude of cassettes to choose sprockets from. I'll be using hope bb spacers to space out the freehub body. If chain length isn't magic, I've an interesting idea for chain tensioner.

Found some elixirs, a mate donated a tensioner & bloody hell, this is so much fun! Mud tyres & singlespeed = awesome.
