Electric Dura-ace...

IIRC Suntour had a version, and Chris Boardman used a Mavic setup on some of his time trials.

I remember the suntour system too, very cool and I think the mavic system was called zapp. This would be great on a TT bike, multiple shifting and no cable woes.

Some bloke near me is selling his ti Colnago with ...Mektronic!

2 versions of Mavic ,

Zapp was first one ( C boardman ) , only rear mech .

Mektronic came later and worked well .

Expensive...

STI Dual Control levers - £349.99/pair
Rear derailleur - £349.99
Front derailleur - £249.99
Cable set - £99.99
Battery - £49.99
Charger - £49.99
Chainset (Dura Ace FC7900) - £319.99

Di-2 Dura-Ace is very tasty. I've already previewed it.

Cabled system for better reliability/battery life than wireless.
Option of "remote" shifters on TT bikes.
Auto-trim for front mech.
Very elegant aswell. Expect to see the odd frame designed purely for this system.

The promised Total integration of computer/HRM etc into this system is the stuff a tech-heads dreams are made of.
