25mm Mavic Seatpost

Hi,

I'm trying to source a 25mm Mavic seatpost for my 1989 Lemond TVT WC Chambrey replica bike, the rest of the groupset is Mavic SSC and I'm finding it impossible to source the seatpost in this size??. Does anyone know where I could source one or does anyone have one for sale??..

If you get any news of "duplicates" I wouldn't mind one for my Alan cross bike.

If you can find a 27.2 & are desperate take it to a decent machine shop & have it turned down?

I have one of the same bikes as well (#47). I was told by the manager of LeMond's teams in the US during those years (the fellow I got my bike from) that Sinclair had trouble getting the Mavic seatposts and frequently used a Campy post of the production bikes. LeMond also preferred the Campy post due to its greater setback.

So...the Campy posts are much easier to find and are correct.
