Some one on this forum said it a while ago, frames are cheap. So one crazy e-bay auction later my new project is on its way. Not the steel steed I had been building myself up to wanting, no, but still a lovingly hand-crafted frame of a small builder. Mind you, a full search on this forum didn't yield more than an occasional mention of his name ....

So here's a teaser for you, what is it?

smooth welds, eh? Nice metal flake paint too ...

rear facing dropouts , yes! But NOT a Klein ....

More smooth welding, but is this picture is also the give away?

anyone?

58 views and 2 replies, hmmmm. I thought it would not be easy, but had expected some more wild guesses. Low stays was a good observation, so how about another clue regarding stays?

This should narrow down the options .....

No points for make just yet, No Klein or Yeti, but it is a suspended rear.
Come on then, here's another one:

Yet more smooth welds plus some CNC detailing. And O-rings to keep the muck out and a grease nipple to supply grease to the pivot axle...

looks as though its for v's or discs (or at least hydraulic/cable). So im guessing 1997 ish onwards. Rear pivot looks nice with the grease nipple, you mention its a small manufacturer, but im stuck on small manufacturers that made FS frames...
