Just had a small scare, they have disallowed public access to part of the Weston Hills nature reserve. Something to do with sheep and cattle being introduced to allow the local grassland rejuvenate. Looking at the OS map we should be okay as we skim the edge of the area without actually going into it. Will take a bimble over that way to make sure later this week.

BTW ... anyone else care to join us?

Finally have the whole route recced. Took a 23 mile round trip to do a couple of miles of the route I missed out due to navigational errors. Getting excited and the weather looks good for Saturday.

Trails groomed ready for tomorrow. Horse bombs swept away and any nasty spiky scratchy stingy overhanging plants have been trimmed back. Any bumpy grassy bits have been smoothed over. Annoying biting insects have had a severe talking to.

Mrs has been trained up in RB etiquette and will greet any riders with cups of tea and hot bacon roll.

Looking forward to seeing you in the morning. Room for more if you have nothing else to do.
