1999 Rocky Mountain Pipeline

In Dec 2013 I built up a old Pipeline. Was excited to get one of these bikes. Luckily the frame was in descent shape and had the OG cranks and forks. I added a few things and shes good to go. The forks do need a rebuild. I also will change the tires to something bigger. Love the ride of this bike. Great pop for bunny hops.

That looks solid.

I bought a 2000 for my dad (overkill for the riding he does I'm sure, but it was too good of a deal to pass up) and rode it around a bit after I tuned it up - I didn't want to give it up.

Thanks man. It is one of the funnest bikes I've ever ridden. I wish I had one when I was in my prime. Would have added a bit more glory to my glory days.

I see you have a 1990 Mammoth, very awesome. Rare as hell.

Re:

Got around to changing some parts out. XY post, pedals, and Salsa skewers that match the lock grip rings. This is by far my favorite bike. Of the stable I ride this the most. Just need to swap the handlebar out for a Race Face bar. Eventual fork rebuild. Maybe some replacement decals

Out on the trail. XC and DH this bike rocks. Got to get my RM6 up and running again. A load of Rockys are about to join this pair.

Re: 2002 Rocky Mountain Pipeline

The other day I realized that I had never checked the serial number on this frame just assuming it was a 99. Will it says it is a 2002, which weird because thats the year they switched to RAD tubing on Pipelines. Learn something new everyday.

Re:

Updated my Pipeline for the coming year. The original Z1 was blown and pretty old. Threw on the Marz DJ from my Lizard which is getting a rigid fork. Added new bar and old Azonic shorty. Rides real nice and looking forward to getting it dirty!

Re:

Got bored waiting for other projects and threw some stuff on my old pipeline. This frame is so weary but I love it. Rides great for a old rig. A bunch of extra chromag parts and a old toro are on it for the moment. Not sure I will complete it now or later. Just fun to see the old girl on legs!
