I've joined the Ti crowd.

It's been a little while and I've changed build direction a couple of times along the way, (does everyone do that I wonder?), but here's the almost complete build. It's not one for the purists at the moment but I might reinstate the m900 build at a later date.

Currently, she's an XTR M95* groupset, brakes, rear mech, skewers and STIs with RS7 cranks and 217 ceramic rims on 737 hubs. (That's a 737 cassette btw, but I will be fitting an M950 cassette) Can't decide whether to run 1X8 using the UNO ring as shown below:

Or to keep the rings that came with the cranks:

Either way she's nearly complete, just pedals, chain, cables and top cap to sort.

Want to see more!!

ps. I prefer M900!

Funny you should say that. As you can see I started with an M900/ Chicken Stix/ Thumbies build, and then was seduced by the M95* /RS7s.

This is her as she did the Long Mynd and the HONC

After the Pre-HONC test run!

I've just sourced some Middleburn rings and 170mm cranks for my daughters M300 build. Freeing up a set of M900 cranks and rings.

Thinking of re-building with M900 and re-using the M950 for a brushed version!

Re:

Thanks, sadly I've cracked the seat tube, so she's languishing in the shed at the moment.

I really need to get cost/viability estimates for a repair.

Then I can sort the M900 version that was the original plan. Seen some early RC35s that would go well too.
