I thoroughly enjoyed that despite the unbelievable amount of mud on what I thought would be an easy winter route

I may have slightly underestimated the total distance too by quite a margin

Anyway thanks to all who came and big credit to Nick for riding his retro Claud Butler on slicks  and also to Trebz who was suffering pretty badly with erm, well an injury.

I have pics to put up but that can wait till tomorrow as I've got Top Gear to watch.

Over to you guys ;)

Great ride thank you mate and thank you for the lift. , surprisingly hard going for an old trail way line I thought , them patches of deep thick mud that ether stopped us dead or had most of us riding brord side wer a nightmare , better tyres for the kona I think but it rode lovely and Chris you was right the only thing to fall off it was me .

I only took a handful of photo's due to having my mud/rain cover on my camelbak and my phone being the only camera i had with me, in the camelbak out of harms way lol!

I took a few at the food stop cafe in Beverly though...

Chris managed to acquire himself a puncture on his 'sunday best' full bouncy marin..

Trying to fix it..

All of us keenly helping him whilst he tried to figure out where 'this bit' went..

And i got my 'sunday best' bouncy marin absolutely blathered....

Bike of the ride..

Note 'Nick's' retro claud butler, rocking road slicks, and he slipped and slid everywhere but stayed on for the whole ride (barring one little 'off')

And my blathered baby afterwards...

Nice pics Spud, as I forgot my camera these are from my phone.

I'd ridden that route not that long ago, so should have warned you it was likely to be pretty muddy (Jamie got nicely coated in an off in the dark).

Looks like fun. It's a shame I couldn't make it but hopefully I'll make the next ride.
