i need to set my laptop back to factory settings.but to do this i need the acer aspire erecovery software that for some reason isnt installed on the laptop.ive tried the websites which are not much help plus some torrent sites (same again).the reason is when the pc starts windows vista kicks in but when explorer is supposed to display the desk top all i get is the contents of my documents folder?????.i have to start task manager and manually type in explorer.exe to start desktop and all the other programs that kick in at start up.ive checked the statup folder and explorer is there it just never gets going.any suggestions would be great
