Here's my April '93 model. Purchased it as a frameset recently. It utilizes the wheels, groupset, stem and bars from my '95 P7 so not exactly period correct with 8 speed and compact Lx stuff but near enough for me. I am looking for a black stem/bars to suit but for now the Nickel sk8/alloy hot rod combo will have to suffice. The Charge Splaskback's suit it well, yes?
The paint is well faded which is ok but the decals are more faded on one side than the other. Your advice sought, should I get new ones from Gil_m or keep the originals? I'm in a dilemma here.

EDIT, now with a Black Stalk stem, better I feel

My first Clockwork, and I absolutely love it. Bought it with the intention to make it my hack bike, but having ridden it for a while it just feels too good to be abused or neglected. :D Even in its slightly dented and scraped form it still feels superb. Surely my other bikes will have to go to make room for MORE ORANGES! Stocko's lovely 93' Clockwork is already on its way

Glad Stocko's bike is on the way to you as it's my old grey frame. Made me sad to see it go unsold for so long.

I've just taken delivery of a yellow/white 1989 frame so will update here once I get chance to have a play with it. :D

Like buses, two yellow/white fade 1989 Clockworks arrive on the same day... :D [excuse the saddle]

Yellow/white... I'm jealous :D Yeah, stocko's bike should arrive next week and the spec has changed a little from when he posted it on this thread, so I guess it's a great excuse to repost the beaut.

It's been a while since I said I'd post a picture of the latest addition to my collection. I simply must have forgot. Sorry to keep you all waiting. :D

Hi, Sorry if this is the wrong place to post. I really new to this forum stuff. I have a Orange Clockwork frame that I bought in 1993. I begged, bought, sold bits over the years (biggest regret was loosing my USE saddle post). Looking forward to sending some pics, but in the process of doing up. I'm currently after a a quill stem, I have been using an adapter and Ahead orange stem, roughly 120mm and relatively low rise. Before that it was a orange stalk, but that was too long for me. Any suggestions of a good retro stem I should go for (does anyone have anything for sale).
Cheers

Try the wanted ad section fella.

I have a couple Orange frames, with Stalk & Stalk lite stems in long & short variants, so what you seek is out there.

Re:

Hi all im new to the site and have been directed here by one of my old school BMX buddies. Im a collector/restorer of old school BMX and ride MTB for fun. I have my rider but I also have a 98 stumpjumper which is a good survivor with original tyres and grips. I came across the remains of an Orange and have collected it but im unsure of the model. I think its a clock work but im not 100%, im awaiting an email from Orange to I.D the frame and im hoping to get the white/orange colour codes or RAL off them. Anyway I thought id post the picture here from the original owners thread to see if anyone can I.D it. From being into old school BMX I know the guys there love to I.D. an unkown frame.

regards

Lee
