Came across Budnitz Bicycles: http://budnitzbicycles.com/bicycles and I couldn't believe the prices for what looks to me like a titanium reproduction of a 1950s Schwinn clunker.

So, what do you think, overpriced tat for the sort of people that would spend $5million on a diamond encrusted iPhone case, or really cool?

Hideous

And the irony of the Liverbird on the $5mill gimp-phone is superb .... although round here it would a fiver from St Johns Market!!!

They do look pretty cool though.

The bikes that is, not the phone cases.

EDIT. And I've just checked out the spec on them. Not many bikes come with a Chris King Ti headset and Paul Love Levers as standard kit.

I think the bike is like marmite, you either love it or hate it.
And like marmite i think the bike is very nice, although for the money i'd save the money & hang round for a merlin newsboy.

"Weighing in at just 18 pounds, the Budnitz MTN is arguably the greatest recreational mountain bike ever made."

It is tosh like that I object to; rather than the bikes per se.
