epicyclo - roughly 1 hr drive, 20-30miles depending where you are, there may be someone coming from that direction

What time are we kicking off this one ?

The earlier the better for me as my kids want to go to the St Mirren match so I'll need to be home for 2.15pm at the latest.
Takes me hour and a half to get back from GT so I'd need to leave 12:45
 
You'll be lucky, cant see it kicking off much before 10 plus large groups of MacRetro get overtaken by arthritic tortoises.

Jamie / any other long distance truckers - would that work for you??

Hawmaw - my plans have changed a little, ironically I'll now be staying in Peebles but may not be able to afford the whole day. so would be up for an earlier start (??) before meeting the guys then perhaps peeling off the group around 12 noon/1pm to get back to family life.
