I know it's not a bike, but it's MTB related and it's retro.

I think I bought this in about '97/98, but I could be wrong.

It's immaculate, I'd be lying if I said it was NOS, but it honestly looks like it.

It's a large, by the way. I'm not sure I want rid of it, but I'm not sure I'll ever get back into it again.

Cheers. John

I've got a set of araya/shimano wheels from my old early 90’s alpinestar. Now they probably aren’t worth much, but I would like to know what would be a fair price to ask for the tyres? A 26x1.95 specialised ground control extreme and a 26x1.95 onza porc. Both are used, but in pretty good condition and very rideable.

I'm sure somebody will want those tyres more than the wheels ! especially the Porc !

As fare as I can see, the components are not original. I've bought mine for 50 euro. That was a bargain. Because the frame colour is pretty unique I think you would get 100 euro for for the frame. I don't know what components are on it at the moment, but perhaps they can add some value.

Good luck with your sales.

I have a pair of mavic 121 ceramic rims on almost new xt hubs, black dt spokes.

virtually mint with very little ware/markings to braking surface, almost NOS.

Pics if interested when photobucket is working again.

Re: Metal Orange headtube badge

Just taken this off my P7 in favour of a decal
Whats it worth!

Hello!
I´ve got this Onza Aggro here. Wondering what it's worth.
And I'm not quite sure, if it's pre or after 1997.
Greetings from Berlin
Christian

I've had this bike since about 2000, from the serial number it appears to be an October 1996 frame but from the spec it is a 1997 bike, can't find anything of similar age/spec to value it against so would be interested in peoples views.

It's a Cannondale Beast of the East, in quite 'original' spec, the stem has been replaced for a shorter reach one and the chainset is no longer the CODA item, and other than tyres it's as it left Cannondale.

It is in pretty straight condition considering the age and that it is pretty much used as my winter bike, the chain and rear cassette (which I think are the original items) are well over due to be replaced, and I would probably suggest renewing the fluid in the brakes too but they all work and the paint is good.
