Having a mare! Suggestions please? Crangst

Must have been a really crap extractor for that to happen. If you don't want to save the crank, simply drill holes in the crank close to the corners of the taper interface.

Just bought the park tools one from wiggle.

Nice one :)

In my experience the Park Tools are pricey, but you know they will probably still be going strong long after you've gone to the big bike park in the sky.

If the cranks aren't that important then ride it without a crank bolt. shouldn't take long to come off but a slight chance of damaging the tapers.

Pffft? Just had to look it up on the urban dictionary.

Not sure why you felt it appropriate.

It's in the "Urban Dictionary"?

I wouldn't believe everything you read on t'internet.

It was intended as an exclamation of shock at the comparatively cheap price of the Park Tool in relation to the Halfords one.

You don't have to ride it hard, just up and down the street. Done it once myself :)
