Ah! I see now!

Congratulations on your new work, is it in the oil?

Well if I'd been a bit more conscientous when doing geology at uni, it may well have been, but alas no. I'm entirely terrestrial :D

I'll be in Aberdeenshire from early November....

PLUS - identity crisis - dunno if I'm a Northerner or (may the Lord have mercy on my soul) an Eastcoaster, ken

You'll be a "north-east coaster" ;)

There's a couple of us retrobikers in the shire.

Re:

If anyone fancy's a bimble on Sunday we're heading up Ben Macdui, not a retro ride but all welcome

Re:

Don't think you could call Ben Macdui a bimble, but its definitely one on my to do list. Unable to make this weekend though. Enjoy.

It'll be the pace that will be a bimble

Re:

Wow that’s some challenge, having walked it the plateau was mostly a boulder field on the final approach.

Mind you the path up and along to Macdui would be nice.

Hope you get good weather, mind post some pics.

Tour de Île Noir

Anyone fancy a road bimble around the Black Isle? About 60 miles.

Route suitable for aged degenerates although 3 speeds at least desirable. Jolly good potential cake stops and plenty historical stuff.

Any old bike.

Sometime in next few weeks.

Can start it from DIngwall or Inverness (North Kessock).

I have a GPX of the approximate route, PM me if you want it.
