1994 Manitou FS 19" Complete-XTR M900-SOLD

GearlessinSeattle

Senior Retro Guru
So I parted this out and had sold the frame but the gent I sold it to never paid.:(
I have been sitting on it trying to figure out what to do and so this past week I built it up with a complete XTR M900 kit excluding the headset which is XT.
I also installed a Manitou Stem with Threaded to Threadless Quill adapter.
I have found that there is a small anomaly on the headtube. It is where the downtube meets the headtube on the underside. I will get a photo later.
Not sure if is a crack or it is a scratch on the sticker but with that said the bike is been sold as is.:)
Even if it is a crack this is still a very nice looking bike.
I will get photos of the complete XTR bike this weekend.

1994 Manitou FS
19" from C-T Seat Tube
23" C-C Top Tube

This bike has seen very little use and is in great condition.
The top decals have some "lean" rash.
The Forks and rear suspension are still very smooth.
The frame is still very shinny and the only mark is on the top tube by the seatpost.(see photo)
XT pedals will be replaced with period correct DX.
Please ask any questions
I am asking $750 shipped to the UK and $700 shipped to the lower 48.

There was a funny quote that a read a week ago:
"When I die I hope my wife does not sell my bikes for what I told her I bought them for".
Very funny.

Okay, so went back down and looked over the frame.
On the frame, in between the pivot point on the bottom bracket is this line:

I think this is just a "machining" line from when the frame was made and not a crack but you can see it and wanted to point it out.
Cheers

Friday bump.
If the complete bike does not sell by Monday I will be splitting.
Just so you know, the seatpost, Paul binder, headset and front XTR derailiuer will stay with the frame.
I will post prices on the split Monday.
