M mattsccm Senior Retro Guru Oct 24, 2013 #12 Tried that one. The hole is oval and about 7mm across the short side. Everything I have tried fouls the BB . I ought to look for an older BB really.

M mattsccm Senior Retro Guru Oct 26, 2013 #13 Probably solved. Found a longer lhs BB cup. That protrudes a few mm from the frame which allows a lockring to be used. Now isn't it a good job that I save everything?
