Old Masters Ride :-)

Earlier in the year myself and couple of chums decided to go on a sunday afternoon jaunt all with our retro rides.

I was on my 96 Pulse Comp, my two friends were on a Blue 94 Fuquay (fully rigid and a really snappy ride) and a 80's Raleigh Mustang (which weighs more than my klein and the Fuquay put together! :? )

The ride saw us cover a few miles in Suffolk and end up at a very recogniseable spot (the last pic should give the game away!)

I realised that I'd taken some pics but hadn't done anything with them......til now. Enjoy. :D

:D

My grandad for all the years I remember had that painting on the wall

I was just about to say, who else , other than us had that painting in their house, as a young 'un?

Always good to see old bikes being put to good use, in nice scenery! showing your mate up like that though, turning up on a klein and a fuquay. I wouldn't speak to you again! ;)

A possible potm theme for 'famous' or popularised images.

cheers.

Incredible that house is still there, wonder who lives in it. Great pics.

The house is owned/managed by the National Trust. Not sure its actually open to the public but there is a sort of visitors centre there with a great tea shop!! :D :D

May have to think about an Essex/Suffolk meet with some tea shop/pub stops ;)
