Enigma source their non-custom frames from the Far East.

Spin - they come from China, I'll even hazard a guess at what factory.

There are probably more skilled titanium welders in Xiamen than there are in the whole of the UK - anyone who doubts their quality is talking jingoistic nonsense

Spin themselves seem happy to mention that the frames are built in the Far East, with just the design/R&D and final assembly of complete bikes being done in Warwickshire:

IIRC, Genesis are also open about the fact that their UK-developed products from a UK company are built beyond these shores.

disappointing to read those last few posts. I was deluded / deluded myself into thinking they were british. Thanks for the info and happy to stand corrected.

Van Nicholas are a cracking frame to ride{Now built in China as i understand it.} All come was a life time warranty.Something to consider when spending your hard earned money . The Yukon is a top do everything frame.

Planet X seem good value. I would look for some user reviews.

I think Van Nicholas always had their frames built in the Far East. They used to trade in Europe as Airborne but there were, I believe, legal issues regarding that branding. Either way, by all accounts they're good frames with plenty of satisfied customers.
