Different taper for BB's ?

I saw a square taper BB today that looked to have a different taper, I tried it in some cranks and the taper was different, it still wobbled when it was pushed fully into the crank.

Looking on Sheldon Browns site JIS and ISO both were 2 degree.
So what could this have been?

Suntour were a bit off the wall in the early days

It is also length meaning 1 bottoms on the other and in reverse 1 doesn't always go on properly

Didn't the BB units on the original Viscount Aerospace models have an odd quirk like that? Or was that the crank arm tapers?

Early Dura-Ace had its own taper as well
