Crazy hubs.

What stops the flanges coming off the bearings ? Interference and loctite ?

Looks cool though

WD :D

didn't Tune do a design where the flanges moved independently?

surely, once built they wouldn't move due to the spokes holding them in place?

either way, weird

Better have some decent angular contact bearings in there, or the bearing won't be lasting long.

All the best,

Yes :)

If I wasn't so busy tonight I'd go out and make one!
See if I can destroy their "lightest hub available bar none" claim.

Yeah right a "freeride" hub with out disc mounts or a 20mm axle, sure..

Plus the floating hub shells are pretty scary..

Light means small diameter balls which means poor wet weather performance well is seems to on all those far eastern hubs. I have had it with cheap lightweight hubs they promise so much and deliver so little. I dare not take my novatec's A291/F482 out in the wet as it is know they do not last long in those conditions.
