Would like to know the stamping on the BB..........

Unusual to have a bike made to fit you and have that amount of seat pillar showing, but that's the cynic in me.

Documentation looks familiar, and I agree with Shaun abut the seatpost and the stem...and that front skewer: what's going on there?

If the frame was indeed built for the seller...I'm puzzled as to why the bicycle looks like it does.

i would suggest that this bike has been a display piece and never sold, hence the height of the stem and seat post. it's absolutely stunning and practically identical to the services des courses bike i owned back in 1986.

(cue yellow pages yorkshire accent:)

£1200 on a very good day ..

Can't imagine it being in a shop display..........that's an awful lot of cash to have tied up on the shop floor. If we did it then we always used stock frames so would not have all that build documentation.

I am from yorkshire :)
