Norco

My 97ish Sasquatch came in the yellow team colours. I regularly broke bits on that bike riding the shore with my friend. Wife was so frustrated with me - I went through at least 3 non-drive side crank arms on that STX RC crank and destroyed the wheels fairly quickly (I was definitely a Clydesdale back then). I test road the freeride hardtail Sasquatch in the early 2000's when I decided to stop repairing the XC Sasquatch (2002 I think). It was a good bike, but I bought a Kona instead. The Kona had a bit better build. Sasquatch frame looked nicer.

I met one of the founders of Norco, at the time (1993) he had a small bike wholesale company in Victoria. He said when they started manufacturing in the 60s they were using a bunch of defunct equipment from an American tractor factory.

Bought my Son a Norco BMX for Xmas 2 years ago. Really impressed with it, well built, looks great and, most surprising of all, it's the only thing in the house he hasn't broken.
