V brakes and Levers

I have just taken delivery of a raleigh dynatech. Excited about getting out on it but definitely unexcited by canti brakes. I'm looking for a set of brakes and levers to swap in. Would prefer something retro looking if possible (the rest of the bike has deore xt, i think), but would also have more modern stuff.

What have you got?

I dont know what avid 3ds look like. have you a picture and a price?
