Englund damper Manitou crown

mvd1974

Retro Guru
Manitou crown ahead 1 1/8" x 277mm 25 Euro SOLD
This crown will fit M2, M3, M4, EFC, but was used on the M4 and EFC, hence the 2 bold fastening.

Englund cartridge damper 45 Euro
This damper was designed to fit Manitou 3 and 4 forks
It has been mounted on an M3, but I sold the fork. Before installing it, I modified 2 parts (see pic) so I didn't have to take out the two steel pins of the Manitou adjustment system.

Postage will be 9 Euro for uninsured postage to the UK, 13 Euro for insured postage to the UK.
Living elsewhere ? Let me know and I sort out what the cost will be.

First dib on the crown . I'll check steerer length and confirm if that's ok?

EDIT: the pic has the diameter inch quarter but the words inch eight. Which is it? Only interested in inch eight. Let me know.

his pic has 1.125" which is 1-1/8". 1-1/4" would be 1.25"

so his pic and desc are matching. ;)

Do you mean if it works OK ?
Yes it works OK. Nothing wrong with it... I installed it on a M3 NOS.. ridden once... It makes the fork less jumpy..

How does the damper work ?
Just like any other oil damper... there is oil in the wider part of the component. The thinner part (on which the rubbers are stacked) slides in/out.
