Finished it!

(Added new USE handlebar - with new stickers. Silver magnesium (from Honkg Kong) Avid Speed Dial SL levers and it's done, after several months, only the rear mech, Tyres and frame survives from the original bike.

I replaced the XT parts with XC Pro - then changed the rear mech back to the XT M735 which is shifting beautifully with the Suntour MD cassette and Suntour XC Pro shifters.
Was thinking of sourcing a mint XC Pro rear mech, but not too fussed now, though am keeping my eye out for one, along with some Royce BB lock rings.

Well, took a while and I am very happy with the bike which turns heads everywhere it goes and rides as good as it looks!

It may not be built year specific, but it's very close - only the Avid V Brakes and the grips are modern.

I think it now looks a million times nicer and rides much better.

If anyone has a NOS or Mint Suntour XC Pro (MD) rear mech and a set of Royce BB lock rings....That's all I really need.

Sorted both!!! NOS XC Pro MD and a Royce lock ring!
(pardon the reflections which make the read mech look smeared)

Update:

The Suntour XC Pro rear mech and Royce lock rigs on now.

Now to replace the Avids with Paul Components Touring Cantilever Brakes and levers (Levers in Silver, Brakes in Black).

Final incarnation of my Dynatech.
The V brakes looked a bit out of place, with that empty rear canti hanger...
Changed the:

Flite Ti Gel to a newer flashier Flite Ti Gel.

The USE Alloy Seatpost changed to USE Ti with Black USE logo

The Avid SD 7's changed to Paul Components Neo-Retro Cantilever brakes and Cati Levers in black - with Paul Funky Monkey front hanger and Paul Moon Unit straddle cable holders front and rear.

Awaiting some QR skewers deserving of the bike and she's done - My heart is saying Royce Talent, my mind is saying Shimano XTR M900 or Campag Record mid 90ies.

Saw this when I popped in to pick up some bits from Ibbz, and its even nicer in the flesh.

Finished it - final final incarnation...well, Until next time!

managed to get some USE decals for the seatpost, and managed to get some original Paul's QR Skewers! Yay!
Polished them up with some Brillo and Autosol and cleaned her up, adjusted the rear mech and brakes one final time and took her for a nice couple of hours ride.

Wonderful! Think I need some Bar Ends though for some upright cruising.
