Marin Bolinas Ridge BB size ?

I have just picked up a Marin Bolinas Ridge and I need to know the spec of the BB I need can anyone help. I think the old girl could do with some new bearings

Its a 1995/1996 model I believe.

68mm british for 99,9% - lenght depends of cranks beeing there

Am I right in assuming I just measure the length of the old loose bearing type bracket :?
