Rear mech hanger

Hi all

On my GT Zaskar viewtopic.php?f=6&t=274302 the rear mech is a bit wobbly, it's ok at the mo, but I'm thinking it will eventually go, is there anyway of fixing this.

I know I can't just retread it, but was wondering if I could take it to a frame builder or engineering place & maybe they could make me up a rear mech hanger sort of thing.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Yep, I have one of those on my '91 Zaskar, as the threads were gone when I got it. Drilling out the hole took a bit of courage, but it's worked perfectly since, both with a tensioner when I had it built as a single speed and with a rear mech now it's built up more like it should be, so I can recommend using one.
