1989 KLEIN TopGun

Somehow I think this isn't a Top Gun but a repainted Rascal... I can't quite make out from the pictures, but didn't the TG have a headtube-downtube gusset and I think this one doesn't. Also, if the paint is original, why is the flag decal damaged but the paint around it isn't... the decal should be under the clearcoat if it's original.

Ah well, just thinking... nice frame none the less :)
 
I have owned a 89 top gun, a 89 top gun frame that was painted rascal at the factory and a 90 rascal frame. they were all identical except for the stamp on the drop out. cant tell if its a respray from the photos but looks good to me.
