Hi folks,

I'm looking for a Kona Project 2 to suit a 20" 1991 Explosif, a Velocity Stem and an Impact Headset please!

Condition of the fork and stem is not particularly important as I intend to have them refinished along with the frame. I would prefer the items to be of the same or similar vintage if possible.

Many thanks in advance.
 
Is this stem any use?

150mm. zero rise. rather lightweight and has a 'make-do' top bung. Will need a repaint as you suggest. Was on a cinder cone but not certain of year..

Check the size first because the 1990 Cindercone takes a 1" stem that looks like it could be a 1 1/8"
 
A-ha! Cheers for that.
Better wait till the actual f&f arrives before buying bits for it.
Should never assume anything! I'm just excited and impatient.

More Kona gems! Good to know there is a supply to the demand out there. Now if i only knew what size i need! Hope to take possesion of my Cindercone in a week or so then i'll know.

Is the Cindercone like this? If it is then it's definitely a 1" stem you'll need.
