Now taking nominations for the October 2013 Bike of The Month contest. This month's theme is Halloween.

Please see slightly updated rules here > http://www.retrobike.co.uk/wiki/BoTM_Rules , especially note the first. Useful if you can structure your nomination as follows
➡️ username's Year Manufacturer Model , e.g. John's 1990 Kona Lavadome
➡️ Image(s)
➡️ Finally please include a link to your machine in the relevant Reader's Bikes section. If you don't have an existing post now is the time to add one with as much detail as you like!
➡️ Limiting entries to 20 this month. When we have 20 the poll will go up.

So, slightly different theme this month. With every nomination we will need a few words as to why you think the bike is Halloween themed. Examples could be
*Frankenbike / restomod
*Monster Fat
*You own the Wolfman Klein

Or any other good reason. Reserve the right not to put bikes through if the reason isn't up to scratch.

Can I just add another potential reason to:-

*Makes dogs howl like wolves

(but if you're gonna claim that, video evidence has to be forthcoming - no cheating by flashing the mutt from behind the camera)

JSO's 1989 Monster (Wicked) Fat. (Has the W in the serial number designating the frame as a Wicked)

Boo!
I am afraid I dont have a build thread as it is pretty much BONE stock as it crawled out of the Somerville Cemetery...... a quarter of a century ago!

Jimi911's 1993 Wheeler E1 Ti Resto-Mod

I will toss this in the Resto-Mod back from the dead catagory.

Its a 1993 Wheeler Ti that I gutted and brought back from the dead with some new parts. New fangled bits on a 20+ year old bike should scare a few purests.

What's really scary is that its my everyday bike. I cleaned it up for the pics, but I commute on this thing (with Spin Tri Spoke Slicks) and its my trail bike. I ride the hell out if it. Almost sold it a few months back like a fool, but smartened up.
