Sorry its a rubbish picture...

Any more info about what bike it was attached to? I guess not!

Looks like either a Campagnolo or more likely (if it's a British bike of the late 70's or 80s) a Weinmann. The latter came in multiple drilled and non-drilled varieties and (someone correct me if I'm wrong) either black or brown hoods. Brown certainly appears to be more common.

Its a 1981 Colnago - sorry I should have said.
I guess Weinmann is unlikely on an Italian bike (?) and I haven't yet found Campag versions with those rectangular holes, but that's not saying much...

Colnago has a habit of taking gran sport levers and chopping them about. Triangle at the top and slotted at times. Shaun (on iPhone)

These looks very much like the Colnago altered Nuovo Record levers. Quite nice and reasonably rare.

Personally I'd prefer a standard set of NR levers but if you want some done we do know a guy in Poland who is a dab hand with a shotgun

Thanks that's really good, especially the photo. Many thanks.
I think the shotgun might be a bit too random - perhaps I'll be able to find some originals?
