.... The following I have to choose from. I am planning on swapping a set on to my DBR Axis TT to replace the modern (ish) fox float RLC to make it more retro (link in sig for current spec and pics):

- pace rc36 evo with the ti nitride sliders (no wear)
- pace rc36 evo, fully fettled by Tim
- pace rc38 Air Force II

Or should I leave the fox forks on there or go crazy and fit some lawwill leaders?

Looking to downsize the spare fork collection so want to make sure I don't regret what I part with.

Cheers

Leave the foxes on if it's primarily a rider.

the paces are all decent forks, but will not perform like the foxes.

The 38's will be appreciably more flexy than the 36's tho

36 Evo in fine fettle - to then be fettled by Tim before too long. Win win.

Not too fond of the Air Force forks TBH. Internals work well but way too flexy.

I'm not sure any are period correct as the frame is a 1993 edition. Its shod with m952 mostly so I'm not fussed about catalogue spec, just a good fork to complement the build.

The pace forks would tie in better as they are black and in one case, xtr grey, the fox forks are grey and kind of work due to the umma gumma tyres and xtr grey cabling.

I'd stick with the Fox forks.

If you have to pick one though, I'd go with the RC38 Airforce forks, had a few sets in the past and found them good for xc use.
