I found a walking book in the reseses of my book shelf that had a walking route pioneered by one of the original rough stuff dudes an ayrshire fellow that went up merrick on his bike in the the thirties (i think) route looks doable and was thinking of trying to get this one in before the pish weather kicks in for the winter, anyone fancy doing it on a retro bike, even thinking of an overnighter which was discussed before- feck knows when I will do it as I am working like a slave at the mo but a date set is what I would need to make it happen
