a little more progress.
i installed the front gear cable & rear brake cable.
and i also fitted a chain.
but i don't have a long enough rear gear cable.
i also need a cantilever brake hanger for the front.
once i have the above 2 components it will be ready to ride
and i am in the process of planning a runcorn to rhyl and back in a day, charity bike ride.
i did this a number of years ago and i vaguely remember the distance being over 100 miles.
the ride will be in memory of the late david mccarrick & sue ridley. and the money raised will go to halton haven.
halton haven is a local place for people with terminal cancer.
i am really looking forward to getting some miles done on the orange.
