How many lives do you need out on the bike these days??!

Everyone with Tribars rides like that. They see bikes as just some weird contraption they're forced to use to win a race.

Well, "cyclists" do too, but at least they spend more than a third of their time on them, so they actually have a chance of learning how to do it properly.

I can see both sides in the vehicle v bike debate, the way I approach it, the cyclist (us) are the one that are going to come of worst unless you hit a granny in a buggy :) So we have to be prepared for the worst.

But I have been out on a couple of various club runs (never again) and the way they steam through lights, across junctions with very little consideration for others surprised me, but then again it is a race on public roads at the end of the day.

One thing that makes me cringe when I see cyclists doing it, is when they gesticulate to make cars overtake them, surely the drivers are just being cautious and waiting for the right opportunity to pass rather than screaming past :!:
