Got me an unloved Bontrager...

mrkawasaki

Retrobike Rider
A frame and fork combo that seems to have bounced around a few Retobikers before it's turned up for adoption in my welcoming cellars.... apart from too long a stem, a no-name post, mix and match mechs and cranks that are too long for the silly low Bontrager bottom bracket, it rides fine! Damn light for steel too...

If anyone wants to tell me what year and model it is - feel free to enlighten me!

Mr K

PS. Koski levers and v's BTW...

Looks to me like the headtube is relieved. Think you've got yourself a Race Lite Mr K...

My Bonty should be here from Bill today. Need to figure out what I'm going to put on it but I'm thinking its going to be a mix of retro and modern stuff and singlespeeded (Pace RC31s, Thomson post, XT HT2 cranks etc.... plus old skool Hope Ti hubs and a smattering of blue or purple bits)

Roy, it must be your old one as I got it from Sandro, built it but never got a chance to ride it before I was 'reminded' that we needed more space in the shed and on it went to Mr. K.

A small world indeed.

Signature build Neil, just a shame it's not your signature.......
