Do you have your bike/bikes insured?

I know in retro world some of us ride some quite valuable bikes. Just wondering how many of you have insurance in case the worst should happen and your pride and joy gets written off?

I know mine are covered for theft under the house contents insurance, but not against accidents.

Mine are covered in the house and outside the house, as long as they are locked etc.

I never leave my roadbike anywhere unless I am next to it :!:

Mine are insured under the house contents. Again I would never leave mine out of sight, although when I ride one to work they are are locked in a secure cycle cage.

I do have my modern insured against riding damage and theft. A lot of money but a like for like replacement if I drop it makes a little bit of sense to me.

+1 on above, mine are covered as a rider (har) on my homeowner's insurance. I took photos of each and sent the documentation to my insurer. However as I understand determining replacement value can sometimes be an issue because it is difficult to come up with comps.
