Rim suggestions for 70's racer please

Just out of curiosity I looked at a wheel I have with an MA2 rim in silver........I think it's from the mid 80's but blimey it looks just like a late 70's Mavic Module E

Personally I don't trust Weinmann concaves, having witnessed a rear wheel spontaneously 'pretzelise' itself. Probably my overtensioning the spokes on an overworn rim, but I don't think that would happen with a box-section rim. Anyway, the rim returned to true once the spoke tension was released.

The Mavic rims, Module 'e' and MA2, are double-eyeleted FWIW. I believe the S.Champ, Rigida, and Weinmann are single eyelet. Module 'e' and MA2 are not the same section. Even allowing for the ten years extra wear on the 'e's in the photo, The MA2 is 'boxier'. I've posted these pics before- The drawing is not 100% accurate, but gives you the idea.

Brilliant info, thanks.

I am watching a few rims and hope to get something sorted very soon.
