Ozone (Bigfoot) Hand Made Polished Aluminium E-stay bike.

Retro Newbie
Ozone CO2 Polished Aluminium mountain bike for sale.
This is a hand made mountain bike from a company that were originally called Bigfoot, hand made in the Malvern hills.
it is an E-stay frame with Pace RC35 carbon fibre forks and full Shimano XT throughout.
Other components are all high spec, including USE titanium seat post, Hope titanium hubs (with splines for disc brake fitting), Hope disc brake on rear, Shimano spd pedals.
It is a polished aluminium colour, with some purple components.

I'm not sure of the value in today's climate.
At the time the bike was built, it would have been around £1700 - £1900.
I'm looking to get £400.

The bike is from around 1993-4 period, and is in good condition, but obviously has some marks from use.

I have tried uploading a photo, but file size is too large.

Photos are available, and can be sent on request.

Oooooooo nice, I have one the same myself, great bikes, very light but stil beefy looking,

Good luck with your sale :D

Re: Ozone (Bigfoot) Hand Made Polished Aluminium E-stay bike

Cheers ozone1.

Yeah, I agree, nice and light, but still beefy.
Mine is very sharp handling, too.

I thought these were quite rare, as not many made.

Re: Ozone (Bigfoot) Hand Made Polished Aluminium E-stay bike

Ohh, forgot to add.
This is a 19inch frame.

Also forgot to add, one side of one of the spd pedals has broken. (smashed on a rock).

Re: Ozone (Bigfoot) Hand Made Polished Aluminium E-stay bike

Well there doesn't seem to be many around at all, I would think mine is the only one in NZ as they were really only ever sold in small numbers in the uk, pic attached, GLWS

I spoke to Graham Foot about this a little while ago; they made 200 e-stay frames in total, so they are pretty few and far between.

Good luck with your sale.

Thanks for that info retrobike rider.

With the one from ozone1 in NZ, that makes 199 left around the world.

Anyone fancy a rare retro bike?

I'd love it :) need to check the dimensions - is it 19" centre-top and what's the top tube c-c (actual or horizontal, either will do).

PeteShelleyis

Also, if I was to rebuild it differently and sell on some of the components to fund it, would you be offended?!

Finally whereabouts are you, and would you email any pics you have to my cunningly disguised email address please? ;)
