Well, for starters I bought this simply to get some nice wheels for another project. Eventually turned up today and it's in showroom condition...just absolutely like it has never been ridden.
No cable rub, no stone chips....nothing  Spent the afternoon cleaning the middle ring which had bizarrely been 'painted' with red felt pen, and have so far removed one side of the frame of some nasty dealer stickers.

Very nice

Ameybrook's going to be so proud of you ;)

I knew as soon as I saw the pic someone was gonna say that.

Um...

....nice

...Ah forget it.

I wonder if the welder ever got bored laying those beads down.

Gosh, I'm slightly confused with the references.
1. Erm....what's the link with Ameybrook? Apologies to Amybrook, sorry, is this a good thing or a bad thing.
2. Pickle...that's the one I bought...turned out way nicer than the photo's suggested...took several hours to remove one side of the campus cycle stickers...tomorrow I will remove the other side. Unusually patient of me.
Heathy......another ride would be great but
1. I ride singlespeed now....that hill was a bastard with many gears
2. I have no car anymore
3. You are a fit bastard
Be good peeps, have a great weekend, Hamilton for pole and win!
Cheers, Carl

Just a little humorous line about his thoughts on fsr's no harm meant to either of you....I hope.

Like i said nice ride the fsr i think they're great

This build is ok, it seems like HB sourced decent stuff, and like I say, if it sees dirt, then awesome. And if it makes him happy, even better.

But showroom?

Basement.

 Why do you reply to my post in the third person. I didn't build it, just bought it for some spares...not my bag really but it turned out to be in superb order.
Rode it home tonight...took ages compared to my singlespeed Kona :?
Don't think it's a keeper.

Carl,

If you decide to split, first dibs on the post (if it is 30.4), saddle and stem!

Trevor.
