If you are using Vee you need a ceramic rim for max braking, esp for the front.
I have a new Mavic 32h D521 dark grey rim. It is built up on a hub just now but for the right price I could un-build it. It was made for a touring bike project that never got off the ground. It is a substantial rim!

I also have an almost new Middleburn RS2 single speed 34t with a second spider/chain ring (ie a spare), but again, maybe more than you want to pay?
