How to restore Dia Compe SS5 Mk2 Levers

Remove the barrel adjusters, reach screws and blades. Mask your decals with a couple of layers of masking tape. Rub with some medium grade, 240 perhaps, wet n dry to smooth what's left of the original paint out and remove any loose flakes. Prime, then paint. Polish up the blades with metal polish too. You'll end up with a nice lookin' pair of levers, decals intact too.
