nice, I used to have the i-drive 5.
There may be GT catalogues in the archives on here, have a look through those to see if you can find what year the i-drive 4 was produced in that colourscheme.
From memory my i-drive 5 was from the late 90's/ early 2000's, looking at the kit on yours it could be around that time period. Might be worth checking the model numbers on the front or rear mech if they are Shimano, as that will help you pin down which year it was produced in.

Well I've changed the stem as it was huge. Getting it working is the main thing, rear shock is low on pressure, and the front brake lever needs fixed.
Bought it as a project bike as I didn't want to spend a lot on full sus since I don't know if ill use it.
I have an avalanche as well so that's my main weapon choice.

Update on my I-drive, bought a few bits to get this going.
Slx m665 brakeset, new pads have been ordered as they are squeaking like mad
Also acquired a gt avalanche 2.0 that needed tlc, so I took the wheels, bars, stem, saddle and a few other little bits and the I-drive is rideable.
