The Unofficial Official Photography Thread...

I had a HTC one X+ which I thought had a good camera, but went with the Windows phone (Nokia 920) in May and it's been great. Went to Ibiza this Summer and didn't get the "Proper" camera out once.

Are any of you on Instagram? Got some of my better snaps on there.

I always have a camera with me. Not just in a phone but a real camera. Can be compact or DSLR.

Love it to combine photography with other hobby's like cycling, slotracing, cooking and diving.

For me underwater is the most complex environment to take great shot:

In a few meters of water al colors are gone. First you lose red and then the rest of the spectrum. It's also hard with the current, waves etc. But first of all you need to keep in touch with your buddy.
There is always dust in the water so you must work with wide angle lenses. But most fish don't like it when you come to near.

Wow! Much better than my efforts with a disposable waterproof camera in the Maldives.
That was 10 years ago though, so I'd imagine the technology has moved on a lot since then.
