1993 GT Avalanche le

It has too many deep scrathes and gouges in frame to leave be able to look good bare and polished, why i decided to paint it, still not sure on the color might change it to satin black
 
I would polish the frame and build it like so:

Yer would be nice to get it that nice, but need suspension with lock out as use it on and off road through woodland track, but just got a GT chucker dirt bike in need of bit of work so might use that as my off roader and road build the avalanche
 
just won this GT chucker on ebay for £22 bargain, needs new seat and bit of work, but will use this as my off roader, so will road set my avalanche :)

changed front crankset, for one that is more for road use, 48 teeth, and put the smaller one that was on it on my GT Ruckus

Out of interest what height are you? Massive difference between a 21 inch Avalanche and your GT Ruckus! Ruckus is more suited to jumping and messing around, you may find it hard work using it to cover larger distances...

i know difference in height, but using Avalanche for road use only mainly town, and using Ruckus for woods only which i take it to on roof of my car
 
Not so, not an LE, was no such bike in 1993.

It was the first yr the Avalanche was offered in aluminum and it was called the Avalanche AL. 93 was the last year they offered an Avalanche in steel and it was a Team Avalanche.
