I thought I'd just fit them onto an old pair of forks, and actually they do have a parallel movement..

They pivot thru the drilled out braces, and definitely have a more parallel movement than the conventional vbrake arc..

As far as I know noodles are noodles.. Pretty much universal

I've just replaced my knackered noodles on my XT V's with new ones from Decathlon. £2.99 each and the rubber fits much better than the XT ones ever did.
