Nice bike :) I could be wrong as well, but this is a 787 futural. I've had a few Vitus frames over the years. The mono rear stay and extended lug with gear bosses on the downtube are main differences between 979 & 787.

A great bike (I still own a 787 road bike) good luck with the sale

No idea - presumably the only differences are the details you mentioned?

much bigger tyre clearance and I'd assume different geometry as it's a cross bike not an all out road racer.

Could be wrong
