Look KG96 Seat Tube

Hi,
I just tried to insert a Thomson 330 into my seat tube and it hit something around 5 inches down... I don't know what that is but I know it is not the water bottle braze-ons.

Any ideas

If you cannot see anything inside its maybe where the tube was internally reamed to ? they do distort slightly as the lug is brazed at a damn hot temperature.

Kg96 is a carbon frame with alu lugs so i guess it is not from heat.could it be another seatpost stuck in there?

it could have some bonding glue stuck inside the tube or maybe there is a deliberate "internal butt" so a certain size of seat post can be used ?
