FAT CHANCE Shock-a-Billy

I have most of the parts sorted or in the post so I'll give you a little teeser on the spec.

As I said, its a love it or hate it build- not 100% period correct but I want to use this as my weekend bike- it has to function well, so a few modern bits have snuck into the mix .

Stem: Syncros Cattleprod or Answer A.TAC
Handlebar: Syncros Hardcore flat or Syncros Riser

Barends: None

Front Brakes:Rock Shox/ AMP Research Disc brake with 180mm 3 bolt un-vented rotor, Ti bolts
Brake Pads: Rock Shox Carbon Metalic
Rear Brakes: Not sorted yet
Brake Cables:Shimano
Cantilever cable hangers: Onza Chill Pill in black
Brake Levers: M900 XTR

Shifters: M900 XTR STi
Front Derailleur: M900 XTR
Rear Derailleur: M900 XTR with KCNC Jockeys and SRP bolts

Cassette: M900 XTR Titanium

If light-weight is your thing then sub-24lb should be no problem. I've got my SAB at 23.6 and it could easily still lose some.

oohhh.. damn this work filter!!! the photos are obviously far too obscene for this time of day!!! cant wait to get home and see another Shock-a-billy!

sub 25lb is pizz easy on one of them!

Just good ol Autosol- took just a few minutes as it was pretty M word anyway.

Not made any progress this week as I have been away with work again. Will be spending most of June away so it could be a while until its finished :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:
